Description

This is the final page of a 5-page story called "Super Kozmik Kripple Skreen Playriter Komix", probably from the mid-1970s. The story credits say: written by Ron Whyte, drawn by R. U. Taylor, and inked by Wallace Wood. Unlike the first 4 pages, this one seems to be almost pure Wood. The full story was reprinted - rather poorly - in Naughty Knotty Wood (Fantagraphics, 1998).

So this is where my page ended up. :-) Lars, I think this is two of my former Wood acquisitions that you have now. I love Woody's unbridled expression of Id in adult pages like this from later in his career.

Lars, I cannot think of ANY artist, other than WALLY WOOD, that is the BEST at any genre he pencils!
Wood is the best at ADULT material, as well as a genius of both science fiction and fantasy, and he wasn't half bad at humour and super hero books !!!!
This is a BRILLIANT example of Wood's mastery of adult themed material.

Wood's naughtiness and sense of humor can justly be praised here, but it must not distract from the fact that the art is nothing but gorgeous!!!

I'd just love to have seen what Roy Lichtenstein would have done with the bottom left-hand corner of the last panel.

Wally was certainly overflowing with artistic zeal!
