Boom. To my inexpert eye this looks like a full collaboration between the two masters, with strong characteristics of each man. This has to be in the top ten of existing '40s covers, no?

I was wondering who bought this! Can't believe it took me so long to find out.... What a great, great cover. I own the Mile High of this book and it is one of the most beautiful Golden Age covers I've ever seen. Congrats Jim!

I'm not an historian of comics but that Manhunter has a modern look that belies the era. Goes to show the influence and genius of S/K.
