"-- It ain’t 1943 anymore!!"

Before King Arthur and his knights fought off an alien invasion with laser guns in DC's legendary Camelot 3000, Merlin apparently used World War II as a "beta test" as he cast a mystical spell that rips WWII American GIs and some Nazis right out of their foxholes and flings them back to 5th century England. This time-traveling clash ultimately sparks the birth of Arthur Pendragon and his legendary sword, Excalibur. DC comics, puttin' the WEIRD in WEIRD WAR TALES!
