1st told origin of the Punisher presented in three original art pages by Tony DeZuniga from the classic story written by Gerry Conway in Marvel Preview #2, "Death Sentence", pages 14 through 16 (Marvel, 1975).

This was the deal breaker for me. In the tradition of Death Wish and the Caped Crusader..we have a man who seriously has a reaon to take the law into his own hands. Classic 3 page sequence. Bravo!

For it's time, this was pretty heavy stuff. Actually, it's still pretty tense by today's standards. Either way, thanks for sharing such rich history of one of comic's finest characters.

This is a very historic and moving page. Is it the first time the infamous picnic scene was in a comic? Thanks for sharing.
