DescriptionThis is an absolutely stunning piece by James O'Barr, done in ink and paint. According to the notes on the back of the piece, James worked on this for over 15 hours. Very beautiful, a little haunting, and a little sad. A shot of the reverse side is below.Social/Sharing |

when o'barr takes his time he really turns out some cool stuff.

Everything you said in your description is exactly what I would have said. Except for the part about the notes on the back, which is a huge bonus. A truly remarkable piece.. thanks for letting me know about this! :)

This is one of those pieces that once it finds a home- that's where it belongs. Much like my own. I'm also a huge fan of his writings. And on that note, I'll stop rambling.
