Description

My Pinocchio page, featuring the first appearance of the character in the series. I love Buckingham's rendition of Pinocchio, the way he makes the character look wooden and stubby and a little kid at the same time. But Medina's initial interpretation ( aided by Hamilton's magnificient inks, just look at the designs of the carpet) cannot be overlooked either - he gives the character a series of hilarious expressions - observe the snooty way P answers questions about the party. Of course, Willingham's script made this whole exchange so much fun!

The Medina and Hamilton combo is great on this issue, nice pick-up.
