DescriptionEd Valigursky is primarily known for his SF covers, particularly those he did for the Ace paperbacks in the 1950's and 1960's. Early in his career, however, he also did many black and white interiors for the pulps, primarily for Amazing Stories and Fantastic Adventures. The earliest published work of his I know of appeared in the August 1951 issue of Amazing Stories. That issue contained this illustration, which is the only b&w Valigursky piece that I own. It's for Milton Lesser's "From Hidden Worlds."Social/Sharing |
