Our friendly neighborhood postman delivered this today. By the great Kelly Freas, it's from the Spring 1953 issue of the pulp, Tops in Science Fiction. It illustrates "Citadel of Lost Ships" by another great, Leigh Brackett.

I will not use profanities but your Gosh Darn Awful postman never delivers anything to me. Tell him to get his lazy posterior over here with your next package. I need it more than you. You must at this stage only have narrow walkways to squeeze through. I can see the obituary now. Noted collector crushed to death by art.

I like that it combines the science fiction with sinbad styled adventure. The glow under the main confrontation is amazing!
