Description

I'm in the midst of rereading Edgar Rice Burroughs' Moon Men series (and am looking forward to reading Christopher Paul Carey's "Swords Against the Moon Men" when I'm done with the originals), so thought I'd post this piece by Roy Krenkel that we picked up earlier this year. It's the frontispiece for the Ace edition of "The Moon Men", published in 1962.

Red Hawk the second half of the Moon Men- the frist Burroughs book I had ever read bought with my last 40 cents during the Cuban missile crisis because we were going to all die anyway! One ofthe hadnful of Burroughs books I still own - nice to knowthe frontispeice still exists. Sadly Emsh and not Krnekel did the cover. Emsh is good but Krenkel is Burroughs
