DescriptionHere's a moody Batman page as he & Nightwing tackle the Red Hood in this issue. The rain affects are done really well on this page!Social/Sharing |

Barrows truly dies a hell of a rain scene! I'm used to Romita Jr being the king of comic rainfall but forget Barrows most times. Thank you for this post!

The bottom left inset is very effective to show this madness to be stronger than any fear of losing their life.

I'm Batman. Sorry, it just feels like it fits in this gritty, atmospheric scene. All the floated panels over the splashy image is a very cool effect, that really adds to that last image, with the red hood over open space. This is the Bat Page that you'd want. Great score. Congrats!

The last panel really does look like the classic "I'm Batman." scene. Absolutely stunning technique throughout the entire page. No surprise, as it's done by one of the absolute best art teams in contemporary comics!

Rain rain, DON'T go away, cuz you make this page totally ROCK .. YAY! There, I forced the rhyme. Love how this is essentially a big full-page splash with some great inlaid panels. Fantastic story telling, and amazing art!

What a fantastic Batman page by Eddy Burrows and Eber Ferreira! Gorgeous use of the rain to make a more striking page! Love the top panel of the Red Hood running across the rooftop. Cool how he looks back and then sees Batman and Robin at the rooftop door coming for him. We don't even see them chase him, we simply cut to the Red Hood/Joker's face as we see the madness come over him. The we cut to the final panel with a silhouette of Batman holding the Joker over the edge of the roof. Fantastic layout by Burrows. Beautifully enhanced by Ferreira's gorgeous inks! I guess John Romita Jr. isn't the only one who can draw a scene in the rain!
