Talk about epic! I missed this story but adored each of the covers and this was always a favorite. Congrats on scoring a standup Batsy piece as well as a testament of the powerful medium of story comics and graphic novels remain today!
Looks like Batman may have his hands full. Awesome cover, congrats!
Having held this beauty in my hands just days ago (and it was a bit painful to repackage it and send to you, West, cuz I wanted to keep it lol), I can affirm that it is absolutely stunning in person. Congrats!
Cool cover. Love Philip Tan's work!
Awesome buy! It was raining deals that day in Canada! With Punchline's early appearances mostly in artist proofs, this pen and ink is right up there in desirability!
I didn't even think of that! Could this possibly be the 1st cover appearance of Punchline in pen & ink & not digital? That would be nice to know!
Sorry to say, but there are some. Guillem March created a cover for Batman #100, too. But I think Finch's Batman #98 was definitely some issues before.
Very striking cover with a 'classic' feel. Congrats!
Fantastic acquisition! Batman, the Joker, Harley AND Punchline, on a 100th issue, that's hard to beat!
awesome pickup West congrats man!
Oh yeah,This is a good one ! Philips work is fantastic !
Fantastic cover by Tan!!! This guy rocks! Congrats
Philip creates a classic Batman scene, but what really makes this cover pop is all the crosshatching he manages to work into the art (the ink wash is a nice touch as well). Of course, a lot of these touches get lost when the art is colored, so it really is a treat to see the original art here.
Really digging that scratchy line work throughout, and the Bat pose is perfect! Very cool! Congrats!
Philip hit that one out of the park!
Beautiful cover. I adore the intensity of the cover and the 3 villians in the bottom are an amazing grab all on one piece. Congrats with another home run
