Description

This Is an Image burned Into my skull that George Barr did for the Conan Swordbook back in 1969. There was only 1500 of these books published which I have #448 and It's signed by L. Sprague DeCamp. I Think this cover Is just Amazing! If anybody knows where this Is at, I would love to talk with the owner on parting with it..........Yah, Right! But I still want to try.

I remember this! I had a copy as a kid but haven't seen it in YEARS! The unique illustration is quite riveting and well done, definitely influencing how I see Conan.

Now I would be inclined to reproduce this masterpiece in watercolor, because it's very inspiring. What a challenge it would be.
