DescriptionI've appreciated Chris' work for a while now, but when I saw his work in the Daredevil: Blood of the Tarantula annual, I knew that I had to have him do a commission for me. His renditions of Batman and Daredevil are superb, so it was a no-brainer to have him tackle a noir-ish team-up piece featuring these two street level vigilantes. I love the iconic symbolism in the gargoyles that he's cleverly incorporated. I also love the fact that the piece seems to imply a backstory for the teaming of these two heroes. Brilliant, Chris. Hopefully, this will be the first in a series of pieces by Mr. Samnee.Social/Sharing |

Absolutley stunning! This is home run all the way around, his use of lights and darks in the inking, great renditions of the heroes and the city and gargoyles are fantastic! A great piece of work that I shall come back many times to drool over! Congrats!!!!

That's really nice. Love his Batman. It's got a easy Mazzucchelli feel to it. The cape is incredible. Love this.

This is one of my favorites of Samnee's work. The level of detail is astounding... you could look at this piece forever and never get bored. Congratulations on this one!
