Description

The Death of Wonder Woman at the hands of Superman. An extremely powerful image that doesn't really need a commentary. But just in case anybody is wondering how it came to this : In the alternate time-line covered in this Superman / Batman arc the 'World's Finest' have become a couple of fascist despots and have crushed all resistance, killing a lot of heroes along the way. Wonder Woman is one of the last able to fight back and has herself just killed Batman, for which Superman makes her pay with her life, killing her with her own weapon. Probably not Superman's finest hour.

Powerful page. Sadly you're right, it is neither characters best moment. (Superman killing and Diana dying) This issue had a great cover and some of the most fantastic pages of the series and this my friend is one of them. Nice!
