Description

This was one of the first pages I tried to acquire and one of my favourite pieces. I missed out on it first time round though. Surprisingly it re-appeared a couple of years later and I was more lucky. Obviously it's a great action shot by Deodato but it's also his debut Wonder Woman page. Diana is visiting a friend (who later turns out to be Circe) in hospital and gets her own unwanted visitor. She's lost the ability to fly as we find her, due to being shot in an earlier issue. So, being thrown through the window by a demon is even worse than it might normally be. As an aside, Deodato was so disappointed by the inks in WW85 that he insisted inking himself in all the future WW issues. The inks on this look fine to me though.
