WOW! His use of WHITES in this piece are incredible. This appears to have been drawn in white inks on a black artboard. Congrats on a beauty by a legend!

I've always been a fan of Mike's short Detective cover run in the 90s, and while this commission differs stylistically from those covers, it remains a most impressive piece. The background has the feel of a woodcut print, very dramatic and full of tension. A masterpiece of comic art. BIG congrats!
