Description

Large commission (14" x 14", pen & ink w/ watercolor) largely inspired by Richard Sala's "Babes on Broadway". This Group Portrait features characters from books and stories by Richard ~ including Judy Drood (�Girl Detective�), Peculia, Justine, Phoebe Duprey, Dr. Lynx, Phillipa Knicely, Mia Moray and Penelope X. As usual it was a true pleasure to deal with Richard. Also a big tip of the hat to Steve Kriozere, who turned me in the right direction with his Femmes Fatales series.

This turned out just great! I wonder what they are looking at. Richard used a very nice range of colors. I'm glad to hear this was a pleasant commission experience. You certainly deserved one!

This is what I love about CAF. I know very little about Sala, but get to see something fantastic spalshed in front of me that I would never have searched out. Congrats on a great piece
