DescriptionAnother day, another Mannion. Ha! Just kidding. Don’t really mean to be so casual or matter-of-fact about it but yeah, I guess I do have a lot of Mannion art. Not that I think it’s a bad thing. I’ve been a Mannion fan since meeting him in 2008. If anything, I’ve slowed down quite a bit with buying new pieces. There was a good stretch there when I was buying several pieces every single year. But a lot of that had to do with him coming out here to do local conventions. It was much easier (and a lot more enjoyable) to get the art from Steve in person. But it’s still a joy whenever I get to add something new to the collection.
My thanks to Steve for his talent and his friendship over the years. And for providing me with the opportunity to make a new friend in my buddy Will K (another huge Mannion fan). Thanks to all who stopped by for a peek. I appreciate your time and consideration. Social/Sharing |

Don't even start with that. Although I'm sure it would be a lot easier (and a lot cheaper) than it took with the other guy. LOL

I'm not familiar with Steve Mannion's Fearless Dawn universe, but based on that art and your description, I need to be. Congrats!

Cool piece. Steve does this weird thing where it looks like "bullet time" or figures seem to be floating.

Rick's comment and your comment reminded me of the first thing that came to mind even before I bought the piece. That it looked like a freeze-frame from some John Woo slow motion action sequence. It probably does have a lot to do with that shot of Helga floating there. Thanks for the comments guys!

Helga and The General make for an odd, yet intriguing, pairing. Love the artistic style of Steve Mannion and the energy of this piece. Nice add!

Great complete contrast between Helga and the General in the manner in which Mannion draws each one. From size differential to the way the details are shown, its easy to separate what each is doing.

This piece looks awesome! I haven't read his Fearless Dawn stuff but a piece like this makes me intrigued.

Thanks buddy! You may want to start with the TPB (to which I happen to own the cover of, heh-heh).
