Description

Most of my friends know that Rick Leonardi is amongst my all-time favorite comic book artists. As a young man, reading his work on the Cloak & Dagger limited series really helped shape the way I view comics and was a big reason why I became fascinated with the medium. Thus, when I had the opportunity to meet him at Heroes Con 2011, I was sure to belly up to his table as soon as possible. Getting the chance to talk to him over a couple of hours while he did this sketch (and another!) for me, I got to find out that he's a thoughtful, insightful guy as well as being a great artist. One of the best parts of the whole convention weekend for me, for sure! Thanks, Mr. Leonardi!!! :D

Leonardi's always been a favorite of mine as well, and I know the feeling of getting to talk with artists and writers you admire at shows. Best part of our medium/hobby. Congrats on getting a great sketch, and having a great time while getting it!

First time I saw Rick's work was in Spidey 2099 and it opened my eyes to his talent and I searched for his stuff, Cloak and Dagger, and loved it. Beautiful art from a great artist.
