DescriptionOne of my all-time favorite pages of John Romita's run on Spiderman. I've always had a soft spot for ASM #12, especially the cover. ASM #87 was one of the first issues I acquired as a child, so acquiring this page was extra sentimental.Social/Sharing |

Very very cool. I love seeing Gwen and MJ on the same page as Doc Ock. Oh, and I'm just a tiny bit of an ASM 12 fan, too : )

It is always interesting see another artist's take on the original artist's rendering. I also echo Glen's comments about seeing Gwen and MJ on the same page with MJ being rather cold and callous.

That is an awesome page! It has everything you could want: Spidey/Parker, Gwen, MJ, Jameson and Doc Ock. You just hit the jackpot!

Wow, a perfect storm of coolness! The ongoing cast in these years made this book what it is (a classic), and the Romita/Mooney pairing is unsurpassed!

To me, John Romita Sr. shall always be Spidey's definitive artist. In this page alone shows all the reasons why. Beautiful recap on a classic Ditko story. Nobody does Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy like Jazzy Johnny. Thanks for sharing yet another amazing piece of art.
