Description

Here's another piece I was hired to restore. This Barks piece had the usual problem - it was just a square of art without any context of being a cover. My task was twofold - first, I mounted the art on a properly sized and color matched larger backing board in the size and scale of that period. Second, I digitally removed the logo and text elements from the published cover, removed the colors, sharpened and scaled them and printed them on color matched stat-like paper. After pasting up all the text on the piece with archival adhesive, that isolated piece of art had become an actual cover!
