Thanks, Jason and Hart - The feel I had in mind was: "What if a classic 60's type pose were rendered with a more modern, somewhat painterly effect?" The classic power of Kirby mixed with the more subtle shading of modern art. Glad you like it!
Thanks Romain! With everything I do, the goal is to increase value and make the piece display better. These can be personal decisions though. For example, if the client had wanted everything to be totally flexible and reversible, I could have adhered the vellum art to mylar and then laid the logo,etc on another overlay. Some prefer restoration be done on overlays and others really dislike overlays. I give my recommendations, but the client makes the decision. I agree with both parts of your comment, Drake !
