I'm still much more a fan of Jrjr's older work such as ASM 204-250 & Iron Man 115-154 BUT this run on Spider-Man was well done, very stylistic ~ kudos on picking up a sharp cover!

Will, Mark, I also like Romita Jr's older stuff, but I think the market's priced it beyond my reach so I'm happy to 'settle' for covers such as this one :)

Super cover, super inking! For me, the JRJR/ Williamson combination is always a killer. No inker before and no one afterwards could produce such strong pages and covers over JRJR's pencils. In my opinion this was the peak of JRJR' artwork. Just my personal opinion ;) .

JR JR certainly had a knack for drawing the Ben Reily Spider-Man costume.  A truly great cover!

Stunning Spider-Man cover by John Romita Jr. I love the style he's developed while drawing this title. It's stylized and yet realistic enough that the reader understands exactly what's happening. This cover to Spider-Man 70 is such a terrific example of his work. I love the way the puppet strings are held by two disconnected hands--We don't know who's controlling Spidey! The poses of the characters is fantastic. Love Al Williamson's inks here as well. Williamson is the perfect inker for JrJr's work. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
