Uuggghhhh. So sorry for your loss. The good news is, at least you KNOW it's in your city. Odds are whomever took it, odds are kids, or drug addicted thieves, will try unloading it at the nearest comic shop.

I'm going to tried to hold my angry but these stories or nightmares are just killing me and breaks my heart(i've just started collecting original art and these incidents have not happen to me YET) .SOOO sorry for you and i hope there is a happy ending to this.A MAGNIFICENT piece to be sure!!!.Take care and for sure i'm going to keep my eyes open.

My biggest hope is the person tries to sell it to a local comic store or pawn shop right away and it we are able to reclaim it with the police report as proof. I have a feeling it will show up again at some point, just have a gut feeling.

I am in the process of shipping a painting I just sold for $1,700.00 and it just scares the hell out of me every time I ship something. I always make sure I have plenty of insurance.

Ah man!!!! No way! My buddy Demetrios was the guy waiting for this to arrive. This is awful. My sympathies go out to you and my boy, D. This packaging theft is starting to get out of hand. Maybe it'll still turn up? Sometimes things take way longer than they should to arrive..... Damn, that sucks.

Man this sucks. Did you ever get it back? I sure hope so, ya I can relate I owned a few Alex Ross pages that were stolen in 2000. Never seen again in my case. I'm pretty sure who stole them he packed up right away and moved out of WI. And last heard he was in Chicago the dirtbag. The police rolled their eyes. When I said the words comic art. The guy who swiped it, also sold guns to the local police too. Hope you had/still have better luck then I have. I bought one directly from Alex Ross too. By the way I'm thinking of selling a few 3-D Man pieces I own soon. Let me know if your interested.Good Luck!
