It's hard to believe that I have collecting the art from this book for over 5 years now. The last page I purchased was in July of 2008 so I am absolutely thrilled to have found another piece from it. To make it even sweeter, the piece that I was able to find is the cover to the book.

Back in August I was searching Josh's forums reading through the posts. I occasionally do this. This time though I came across one post that I had read hundreds of times. It read "ive got the cover for ongoing #4" and was posted October 2, 2007. I had read it so many times but it hadn't clicked with me that it could possibly be the cover I was looking for. The 13th Brother #4 was printed in May 2007 but I didn't realize that all of the times I had read that post. I decided on a whim to contact the user to see if he still had it. After waiting a little over a week I received a reply saying that he no longer had it but that it had been sold to his business partner. He did say that he could ask him if he wanted to sell it so I told him I was definitely interested but wanted to save up some money before I made an offer. About 2 weeks later on September 6th I sent my offer and waited to hear back. A few days later, I received a reply on September 11th that they would accept the offer. I was thrilled to finally have it after all these years.

The piece finally arrived today after a lot of delays. I assumed the piece would ship shortly after I paid but it turned out the owner was out of town until the 20th. He thought he told me that he was gone but hadn't so I started to get worried and sent an email. Well after he received the piece and had it packed and ready to go, there was another delay. On October 3rd I sent another email asking about the piece and he said that he had forgotten to ship it and that it was sitting in the back seat of his car. Well finally after all of the delays it was shipped October 8th and came in today.

It was well worth all of the wait to get the piece. It is awesome and gets me one step closer to reassembling the book. At the time when I started assembling the book it hadn't occurred to me why I had chosen to try to reassemble this particular book. Since I purchased this piece I have been thinking and I came to realize I had chosen this one because it contains the very first piece of art I purchased. As of right now I know where all but 2 pages from the book are. I don't have any idea where pages 15 and 20 are so if any of you know where they are I would really love to hear from you. As of right now all of my leads are exhausted but I would sure love to pick up another page before another 5 years passes.

Congratulations on getting the cover you wanted so much. Once again your research and efforts paid off. I hope you can get the last pages you need to complete the book.

Thanks, Bryan. Only time will tell but hopefully that splash will surface sooner rather then later.
