Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to find another page so soon after finding the cover let alone such an iconic page as this one. After all it had been 5 years so I had added to the book. I never expected that I would actually find this page. It was more just a dream that I would be able to reassemble this book but now I am actually starting to think there is a possibility that it can be done. I figured this page was locked away in a black hole collection never to see the light of day again. Well, I guess you can say it is now.

Let me start from the beginning. It all started with an email. I was searching on ebay like I always do and came across a seller that was selling AP sketch cards that Josh had done when had made the slipcase set of the firs 3 TPBs. I knew only a die hard fan would have such pieces so I sent him a message asking if he had any other art by Josh. We started chatting and he mentioned that he had a copy of the sketchbook More Girls which I had been desperately searching for. We worked out a deal for it and I asked if he wouldn't mind sharing the pieces he had. A few days later he sent an email with 2 pictures attached. As the pages loaded I couldn't believe my eyes. There it was page 20 from The 13th Brother. I quickly sent him a reply back telling him what pages they were and made him an offer on the spot. He sent another email with more pieces while I was sending mine so I quickly told him what pages those were and then sent another reply about this page telling him how I was trying to complete the book. He graciously accepted my offer and the rest is history. I can't thank Johnny enough for parting with this page.

To me this has to be the most iconic page from Dead@17. Some may not agree but to each his own. This page depicts Nara's second resurrection. Just an amazing page that I am flabbergasted that I actually own.

Yeah it really is a great page. I would have to say that this page was one of my grails. I never thought I would own this one. :)
