Description...purchased this amazing piece. For years I have wanted a Frazetta piece. I never imagined I would own one of his best pieces. The Frazetta Famous Funnies run has a lot of great covers and I would rank this one near the top. When I glance at this piece from my desk over the course of a day it never fails to make me smile. My eye darts across from left to right. The tentacles of the Octopus come to life. Beautiful Wilma, damsel in distress looks like she is done for. The tension is so thick only Buck's blaster can break it. The inking is brilliant. The way Frazetta details the sinewy musculature in Buck's back is breathtaking. If you couldn't tell I really love this cover.Social/Sharing |

This is such an awesome piece! THANKS for the BIG scan! :-) My favorite part is the attention to detail that shows the buoyancy of the girl's breasts in the water! Not many people would think to do that. That's why Frank is Frank!

The detail on the giant octopus and the other marine life is stunning. I'd rank this cover up there with the cover to 213 and 214 and Weird Science 29.

This Frazetta pen and ink in particular inspired me deeply as a youth. Anatomy, composition and an octopus.... One really can't ask for more from a piece of Art!

Vinny, the best cover of the run, if you ask me. Great pick-up! Like you, I never get tired of looking at a great piece of artwork. That's the best part of ownership of such....
