Description

Yes, I have picked the most self absorbed commission theme imaginable, yet I have found several artists who continue to knock it out of the park since Ryan Sook did the first one many years ago. I got this beauty two years back from Anderson Carman who at the time was a student at SCAD. He is now a professional illustrator and I think this piece shows off his talent nicely. He did everything here from concept to final art and its amazing how he was able to incorporate McCay's classic Gertie the Dinosaur animation, Little Nemo and me all into one awesome page. Sometimes comic art really is magical.

I just witnessed how pen and ink transmuted into a dream, how wonderful! And besides beauty there is a brilliant Storytelling. Thanks for sharing!
