Description

Brother Voodoo first appeared and starred in his own comic in Strange Tales #169-173 (Sept. 1973 - April 1974), and in a backup feature in the black-and-white horror-comics magazine Tales of the Zombie #6 (July 1974, in a story continuing from Strange Tales #173) and #10 (March 1975). This is a special page from TOZ #6 where the artists were paid for ONE page, but it was published as TWO...an experiment known as: The Marvel (Cheapskate) Method!

Heh. "One page in hand is worth two from the brush." - Ancient Marvel Adage. I love Colan's Brother Voodoo design, and Chiaramonte's inks are deft. And that was a very strong choice to hang him on a cross, with the Voodoo moniker. Fantastic Single page/DPS! Marvels cheapness is your gain. :) Big congrats!
