Description

Well boys and girls, here it is. My first John Romita Sr. art piece. This piece was published for the 1990 Marvel Comics trading card set on the front and back of card, which if I am not mistaken was the first card set Marvel released, and it was trading card #151. There were a total of twelve Spider-man presents trading cards in the set ranging from #149 to #160. After hunting for a sample of John Romitas work for 2+ years I finally scored a piece, and it was affordable to. Yes it was. I still have both my children and all my organs. Unbelievable! This piece was both blue penciled and inked by the legend himself, John Romita. Who new Doc Ock was a standup comedian. I just got a kick out of this piece when I read it, and here it is for all you Spidey fans to enjoy. I never got to meet John Romita Sr. but I was very fortunate to connect with him by email.

Looks like Joe Sinnott's inks, but I've been wrong before! It's a mighty cool piece... Spidey and Doc Ock doing shtick!
