This year was more personal because I got to spend time with some of my closest friends. And definitely a lot more FOOD involved with this year's con! LOL

I'm thinking 2006. It wasn't long after we joined CAF that we me met in person. Of course, my memory isn't all it once was... maybe I'm wrong! ;)

I thought we were just talking about Big Wow shows and comparing this one to other Big Wow (or SuperCon) shows. And trust me, your memory can't be any worse than mine. But I think you're right, the WonderCon when we met was around 2006 (or 2007). Honestly, I don't remember one damn thing about that show except meeting you. But sticking to just Big Wow and SuperCon shows, this year and 2009 are definitely in the top two. Although I'm pretty sure I got a lot more art (with less money) at the 2009 show. LOL

LOLYeah, 2009 was pretty epic in it's own right! Hanging with Mannion and PMS post show, and listening to PMS's tales was memorable to say the least! Our first WonderCon was 2007, since that's what your Buzz piece is dated. I'd definitely have to agree that the 2009 SuperCon, and this years Big Wow were the top two San Jose shows! Good times! It'll be interesting to see what the whole Silicon Valley Con influence will be like for next year, and beyond.

And thanks of course for bringing my piece, although I could've sworn you said you weren't going to roll it. Ha! No worries, it's being flattened as we speak (or as I type). Enjoy the rest of your vacation and I'll see you in SD.
