Talk about a classic, iconic cover. It does hold his own and I think Layton's inks have a lot to do with that given how early it was in JRjr's career :)

Killer! Count me as another who fondly remembers this cover. JRJR was channeling Perez when he did this so many characters. Too bad the logo is covering up some more characters. Would love to see who is behind it. Congrats!

Wow does this bring back memories. One of my first comics I ever read back in the early eighties. Grandmaster vs. Death, a classic! Fantastic cover art, bravo!

Perez may be the King of Krowded Kover scenes, but JR Jr. & Layton gave him a run for his money with this one.

Man...what an epic cover! I inow It's been on CAF a while but I keep Coming back to this one as I scroll through the site. A true piece of history.
