DescriptionIncredible as it sounds, vampires in the "World of Darkness" RPG still espouse some form of religious belief. This beautiful illustration came from the discussion of the Jewish faith and shows Lilith, Adam's first wife. She refused to accept Adam's domination and left Eden. Later versions of the story had her as a mate with and birth demons. A small group of vampires, calling themselves the Shedim, labor to serve what they imagine Lilith's wishes to be. If you haven't read it, pick up Vertigo's "Lucifer" book by Mike Carey. Lilith and her children play quite a pivotal role at the end, even to the extent to invading Heaven.
