DescriptionThis was an impressive book when it came out in 1985 and I still consider the art one of the high points in comics of that decade. I think even Hal Foster would have been impressed if he had still been with us when this series came out. Bolton's best and the illustrative art is still impressive all these years later. He created Black Dragon to be an enduring work and there is no question he accomplished it.

Along with Marada, Black Dragon is my favourite Bolton work. Fabulous!

Never considered the Hal Foster angle, but seeing it in Black and White sure makes the case for it. Love the last panel in particular!
