DescriptionThis seems to be everyone else's fave cover from the run. Don't get me wrong, I love it too and certainly think it is the cover that is most iconic of the Claremont/Paul Smith team up. Wolvie and his ex-enemy Rogue in Japan. Wow, it's like I read it yesterday. Actually, I reread a few weeks ago, and it still stands up.Social/Sharing |

..it would be the cover to #168 for me, but this is a VERY close second. Unbelievable. I have such fond memories of this PMS/CC run - it seemed that when CC was working with PMS he managed to rein in his unfortunate tendency to prolixity. Unlike me with this comment.

The cover that brought me back to comics during my third year in high school. Paul Smith is amazing.

My favorite comicbook from my childhood. I carried this thing in my pocket until it fell apart. I have art from this book that I love. Must be astounding to own the cover.

classic cover! actually met Paul at a Seattle comic show and pulled this comic out to get signed. he happily flipped through it reminiscing about his days on the x-men and this issue in particular. one of the nicest pros I've ever met.

Your tastes are impeccable, this is the PERFECT example of Paul Smith's run on the X-Men. I wish it lasted 30 or so more issues. Congrats!

This whole run is excellent but this issue in particular is a stand out. And who doesn't love Rogue and Wolverine here. They got all the beats just right with these charcters.
