(July 11, 1941) (Fawcett Publications) This cover art to Whiz Comics #19 features Captain Marvel in an underwater battle against a fierce tiger shark. Quite possibly a prototype for Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, a woman clad in only a leopard-skin watches in amazement as this mighty battle unfolds right before her very eyes. Shazam!!! That is so cool. It's really interesting to see examples of "golden age" superhero art, since there isn't that much out in the public view. And this is an especially nice piece.

An incredibly rare CC Beck Captain Marvel cover! A superb example of the greatest superhero outside of Big S. Its sad and still beyond belief how DC let the trademark slip through their grasp and end up in the hands of the folks over at Marvel. But the Big Red Cheese will always be the one and only true Captain Marvel to all us fans!
