Description

This is one of those covers that instantly said movie poster to me. To me that it what sets a cover apart from all the others - is it just a cover or is it something more - does it really speak to the iconic nature of the material? This one totally did this for me.

Carlo does amazing work with the pencils and I can sit in awe for hours looking at the textures he developed with paper and lead. I am thankful that inks for this cover were done on a seperate board. Missed out on the companion piece, but perhaps one day I can reunite them. To me though the pencils truly set the tone for this cover. This one will end up in a frame in the not too distant future.

Big shout out as always to Kirk Dilbeck and his team for a seamless transaction, quick shipping and just for being an all around great dude!

Man those some TIGHT pencils! Great composition, too, with a strong movie poster vibe. Which works well I think considering the subject matter :) Congrats!
