Description

One of my biggest purchases during lockdown and I couldn't be happier. As the new Iron Man book was announced earlier this year with the new suit designed by Alex Ross I knew I'd be looking for art from the book. This new suit harkens back to the classic red and gold armour I loved as a kid, with a modern twist to it.

Flash forward closer to the launch and I see a tease from Mark on social media and I was hooked. Then to find out it was being done as a variant for issue #1 - I was worried this would be beyond my reach. Thankfully I was able to make the connection in time to grab this piece and now it sits proudly on my wall. As always - Mark and Lisa made it a smooth transaction and I had the piece in hand in short order and before the book was out - twice now that has happened for me.

I do have to say I miss the opportunity to pick it up in person at a show as in the past, but a necessary evil for 2020 - that just means a great reunion with Mark and Lisa next time we see each other in person - drinks on me!
