My friend Dan recommended Alex Lins as an artist to look at and boy was he right! Scheduling time to read comics these days is hard with my hectic schedule but I had already picked up the Plastic Man: No More issue 1 and immediately shot it to the top of my "to read list."

Afterwards I immediately reached out to Alex.

Not only does the man have chops when it comes to art he's just one helluva nice guy to converse with. We talked commissions and after going back and forth on a few ideas we settled on this beauty.

The scan does capture the incredible detail of the art but nothing compares it to what it looks like in real life.
I'm thankful for Alex putting so much effort into this piece and highly encourage people to pay attention to this man's comics because, outside of the immense talent, I foresee great things in his future. You're going to want to get in on the ground floor for this!

Wonderfully dark and moody. This artist really knows his way around shadows and silhouttes, not to mention the nice wash work. Gorgeous piece!

great piece, those background details really make the piece and his use of shadow on DD in the forefront but more open lighting on Elektra up top within the scope of the weather elements going on in the scene show you that this guy has some serious thought into the visual design of the piece. congrats on the awesome result.

Got a late great Tim Sale-ish kinda vibe, which is of course a good thing! Love the sense the NYC night atmosphere. Congrats!
