Description

This oversized page of original art by Otto Messmer's Felix the Cat is another wacky page and character that may seem out of place in my gallery -- but that's hardly the case. When I was a kid I grew up watching the Felix the Cat cartoon and would always get a kick out of him pulling something from his bag of tricks in each episode.

I missed several opportunities (because it wasn't a priority) to pick up an original page by Otto in the last decade but was able to get my hands on this fun piece in a recent comiclink auction.

Can't beat having an original page by the creator himself. Now sing along to the song if you know it!

Felix the Cat, the wonderful, wonderful cat.
Whenever he gets in a fix, he reaches into his bag of tricks.
