This piece has haunted me since I first saw it, coming across it in the rule book for the Vampire the Masquerade RPG. I have know John and his wife Liliana for about 35 years (saying that makes me feel old suddenly), and as soon as I saw the printed version of this piece, I asked if it would be possible to purchase it. The answer at that time, 27 of those years ago, was a resounding no...sorry not for sale....we like it too much.

I had resigned myself to never owning it, but then a couple of years ago, Liliana got in contact and asked, knowing how much I loved it, if I would like to finally have the chance to buy it. I couldn't refuse, even if it was more than I had ever spent on a single piece, and redundancy was looming over me due to the pandemic. The Bolton's have let me pay this off in installments and I had a pleasant afternoon catching up with them at their house when I went to pick it up.

Finally, a Bolton Vampire lady painting with a main character portrayed so well you can see all the mischief and seduction in her face. I'm a happy man!!!

Wonderful! The sepia tone look brings out a lot of details in patterns without using a hard edge line and can use more blending and shading. Immense focus placed for every inch of this piece.
