I started collecting comics largely because of the Avengers and issue 115 was my first (2nd was #100- in those days comics would sit in drug stores, book stores or 7-11 way past when they came out). This was my 3 Avengers issue (and it was notoriously hard for any single vendor to buy more than an issue or two of a monthly book so if you got there late, that issue was gone). Thus I do a happy dance (envision Snoopy) to have this super cool page one (with obvious John Romita inks over Cap's face-have you noticed Cap is who Romita 'fixes' more than any other character?). Thank you HA Seller for putting this up. I'll hang on to it until one day I can possibly wrangle the cover from someone. Here is what HA has to say-

Bob Brown and Don Heck The Avengers #119 Splash Page 1 Loki Original Art (Marvel, 1974). The Avengers-Defenders war finished up last issue, and this splash page is the opening of the tale "Night of the Collector". The Collector is one of the Elders of the Universe in the Marvel Universe, and has even appeared in the Marvel movie Universe in Thor: Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Avengers: Infinity War. This page features the Avenges (Captain America, Mantis, Swordsman, the Vision and Scarlet Witch, Iron Man, Black Panther, and Thor) carting a captured Loki back to their HQ. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15" (including the stat paste-up header banner and lower indicia). There are production oil stains on the page, and some production tape residue, as well as glue residue near the paste-ups. In Good condition.
