Description

I love the Avengers and I love Cosmic adventures so this was a perfect piece for me. Sean and Scott did a wonderful job on this cover. I missed it in 2020 when it sold and it cost me an extra $3,000 because of it but that mistake has been rectified. A great team! Here is what HA has to say:

Sean Chen and Scott Hanna Avengers Infinity #1 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 2000). A new Avengers team is formed in this first issue of the limited series featuring Thor, Moondragon, Quasar, Photon, and Tigra. Great dynamic introduction of the team rendered in ink and white paint over graphite on Marvel cover stock Bristol board with an image size of 10" x 15". Light smudging and signed by the art team in the lower left image area and bottom margin. In Excellent condition. Includes layout sketches on the back.

A great issue one cover to launch the miniseries! It tells you exactly what you need to know with the cosmic setting and the heroes' powersets that'll charge into the battle. Sean Chen's amongst the cleanest lines out there in 2000 for this kind of complex composition!

Killer exploding out layout. Every character looks great. Love that Kirby crackle on the bottom and stars up top.
