DescriptionI love this love triangle, run and era- 'Nuff said!George Pérez Avengers #23 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1999). The Scarlet Witch is known for her unpredictable hexes, but this time it's her unpredictable exes causing trouble as Wonder Man and the Vision go head-to-head, while an apparition of the chaos magic-wielding Avenger looks on with concern in the background. The incomparable George Pérez masterfully illustrated this Modern Age classic, rendered in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Marvel Comics Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15.25". The artwork shows minor handling wear and soft corners, and photocopy paste-ups of all cover dressings are included but not adhered to the board. Signed by Pérez and in Excellent condition. Excellent pick-up - one of the best issues in the series, coming off that intense Ultron story - huge congrats!

Agreed the stars aligned for you in purchasing this beautiful cover. It is 100% my favorite cover of the second run Perez greatness as the pictured love triangle and drama was one of my favorite elements of both the 1970s run and the 1990s run. Harkens back to Avengers #158 and my golden age of Marvel greatness. Huge congrats.

My loss was your gain. Glad this ended up with you. It's hard to match Perez's depiction of Vision, Wonderman and the Scarlet Witch.
