Description

I love all of my art from issues 150 to 170 but this is the king of the collection (as I doubt I would ever pull the trigger to buy a cover). Thank you Michael Lovitz for parting with this and so many other treasures. It didn't think it attainable but he made it easy. The fact that it got colored along the way only makes it sweeter to me.

The very first page of the Avengers I ever read, and my first exposure to my favorite comic book artist of all time, gentlemen George. Took three more years before I was able to read the first part of this story.

This splash is really beautiful Kirk. I would prefer it black and white but its really the best color job I have seen by Oliffe on art board. Great score!
