DescriptionObviously I'm a huge Carlo fan and particularly his depiction of the Jade Giant. I remember first seeing this cover when it came out (note it was split originally as the covers to issues 612 and 613 and then eventually re-used in its full spread as the cover to the Dark Son TPB), and I remember loving it. It's arguably one of, if not the best (in my very biased opinion) Hulk cover he has done. Lo and behold a few months ago it came up on ComicLink and I took a swing. Managed to snag it (barely) and I could not be happier. Just straight Carlo pencils. Great stuff.Social/Sharing |

So much packed into this, and exquisitely composed and illustrated! The characters, the story, and love that half Banner/half Hulk image centering it. Big congrats on nabbing one of Carlo's best covers!

A coinnecting cover that does it right! A great split image of Banner and Hulk down the middle!

Loved these covers and thrilled they were used as the TPB together. I wish they redeemed Hiro-Kala at the end of that storyline - really liked his character... Huge congrats on this, Anthony!

Thanks, T. Yeah, the story never quite got to the heights I wanted it to, but this image gets so much right.
