Description

This sweet daily, from 2/21/74, features Gogie and Viola, who tells Gogie about an upcoming date with Quincy. The pacing of this piece is beautiful, as is Shearer's use of the Zip-a-tone shading tape. While Gogie bounces the ball, the Zip-a-tone creates its own tonal bounce, drawing the viewer's eyes up, down, and across the strip. Masterful.
