DescriptionThis page just makes me want to say "Masters at work".The incredibly talented Capullo and Glapion were the perfect match for Snyder's Batman: probably one of the best and most popular comics runs in decades and for sure my favorite Batman run since the Loeb/Sale and Loeb/Lee epics. The first issues definitely brought a personal and fresh take on Batman and I believe this first Court of Owls storyline will forever remain a Batman classic. I've been looking for an example of this run for years and fell for this one. A classic Batman interrogation scene, but done in a completely fresh style, by artists at their peak. At least, this page makes me feel like that ! Social/Sharing |

Just a beautiful page that gets better the more you look at it. Also one of the best reads this era.

Awesome sequencce at the top as Batman uses Joker to play chicken with the train and the tension is ratcheted up by Capullo and Glapion's sharp and sleek fast cutting artwork.

Some great storytelling top to bottom from Capullo paired with the equally great ink work by Glapion - so stark. Congrats!

Ouitstanding Batman page penciled by the great Greg Capullo and inked by the fabulous Jonathan Glapion. I love the opening panels of this page with start with black and pull back to reveal an eye looking wide at the sight of a train coming right at him. Then we pull back to see Batman slamming the thug into a wall to interrogate him. Meanwhile, behind Batman, shadowy shapes become a crew of gangsters hoping to take Batman out. Beautifully composed page by Capullo is accentuated by the bold inks of Glapion. Superb pick-up, congrats!
