Description

In brightest day and blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight! I have been slowly collecting Filmation cells of the Justice League (Super Friends) and this was the hardest of all. I have seen cells come up for the other Super Friends characters, but GL has just been tough.

But finally, through a trade, I was able to bring Hal Jordan into the fold. The trade was costly because of the piece of art I had to give up to get it, but no regrets. In part because of the cell I got, but just as much because I has introduced me to a great guy that I now consider a good friend.

Dollar-for-dollar, I may have come up short in this trade. But maybe not...I guess it is possible that the value of the cell is worth more than the piece I traded. I don't know and truly don't care. Both sides of the trade walked away with a new treasure for their collection and THAT is what I like to have happen. Prices have gotten so high...even for sketches. I can see a time when I will stop adding to my collection. And that is probably sad but true for many collectors. Such a shame since this should be a hobby of childhood memories, happy memories, and passion for the art form. Well....good collecting to you all. I hope you are ALSO able to experience the joy of finding that missing piece to your collection.

Green Lantern caught by Evil Star's life force beam tentacles! That is my favorite GL cartoon! This piece was sold via Ebay on 2012-5-18 for $159.99.
