Description

Twenty years ago, I enjoyed a long phone conversation with a fellow collector who claimed to have Ditko's cover to Amazing Spider-Man #3. I admit that, since that conversation, I've always felt small and insignificant as a collector... until acquiring this page featuring the first panel appearance of Marvel's second greatest super-villain, The Watchlord (intro/origin/death)!

The sinister deeds that Doctor Octopus accomplishes with four extra mechanical arms, Don Heck's delightfully demented Watchlord achieves with four additional squiggly lines on his lower lip!

My reign as undisputed God-King of CAF shall last a thousand years.
